Risk assessment

The risk assessment relating to the pandemic may appear out of date in present circumstances. But we don’t wish to tempt fate by removing it!

Choir members, please read the risk assessment before attending choir. Your committee wish to ensure your safety and wellbeing during the current pandemic. The risk assessment will be amended if circumstances change. Click here to read the risk assessment.


Subscriptions

Subscriptions from September 2023 are £60 for the Autumn and Spring terms and £40 for the Summer term. (Note for those paying for the whole year from September: subs are £140, saving £20). Cheques are accepted but bank transfers are preferred. Please could members pay for both the hire/purchase of music and subs at the same time if there is a cost for music.

Practice files for the Haydn and Mozart are available on the John Fletcher Music website. You may have to register with an email and password, but you shouldn't need to take out a 'paid' subscription. Here are the links:

There are several files for each movement. Look for your voice part in the file name. Files ending in '.mp3' are the ones people are most likely to be able to play.


Concert notes

General concert reminders to choir

  • A Lateral Flow Test is advised on the morning of the concert day (if felt necessary)

  • Black folders are usually needed for music unless informed otherwise.

Concert dress

Sopranos and altos: long black skirt or trousers, plain black top with long sleeves, muted scarlet scarf

Basses and tenors: DJ with white shirt and muted scarlet bow tie
