Francesca’s proposed schedule for coming weeks:

29 Oct: Bizet movs 2 and 4, Gounod Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus

5 Nov: Bizet movs 1 and 3, O Salutaris, Gounod Credo, Benedictus, Agnus Dei, Start on Christmas? (20 mins at end)

12 Nov: Faure, Bizet/Gounod tricky corners! Christmas? (20 mins at end)

19 Nov: Run as much as possible for concert

22 Nov Concert Day Rehearsal 10.30am-1pm with break. Concert 4pm

26 Nov/3 Dec/10 Dec: Christmas rep

17 Dec: Rehearsal 6.30pm (at St George's), Concert 8pm

The Mass and the Te Deum comes from a CD by the Munchner Symphoniker/Hans Rudolf Zobeley. O Salutaris is on a CD called Gounod Sacred Choral Works, choir of Gonville and Caius College Cambridge, on the Centaur record label (on which Francesca is singing/playing!) Other recordings are also available.

For July 2025, Andrew Carter kindly gave the choir a non-professional recording of Horizons recorded at York Minster in 1998 for use when practising. This will be removed soon!
